Returning items
Under the Consumer Protection Act, customers are entitled to return products they have ordered to the sender.
To send customer returns free of charge, a contract between the sender company and Itella is required.
Returning a letter
If the returned item weighs less than 2 kg (letter), you can drop it in a letter box, having marked it as “CUSTOMER RETURN” or “RETURNED ITEM”. Write the recipient’s contract number on the item, if it is available. If you need a receipt for the return, take the item to the post office.
Returning a parcel
If the returned item weighs more than 2 kg (parcel), take it to a post office and fill in the Customer Return 14 address label. One section of the label will be given to you as a receipt. In some cases, the sender may already have included this type of address label.
